This policy applies to the website strobotech.at. It describes which personal data we process when you visit the website or send us an enquiry, on what legal basis this takes place and how long we keep the data. The applicable laws are the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021).

This website runs no analytics or statistics programs, no advertising services and no social media buttons. We do not embed maps or videos from third-party providers. Fonts and icons are hosted on our own server, so your browser does not load them from Google or any other service.

The website runs on a server of MIKAS ISP Werbe GmbH, Stettnerstraße 20, 5301 Eugendorf, Austria, which processes the data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Each time a page is accessed, the server automatically records:

• IP address
• date and time of the request
• address accessed and amount of data transferred
• the page you came from (referrer), if your browser sends it
• browser, browser version and operating system

We need this information to operate the website securely, find errors and fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted after seven days.

The connection to strobotech.at is encrypted with TLS. You can recognise this by “https://” in your browser’s address bar. Anything you send via the contact form is encrypted on its way from your browser to our server.

We do not set any cookies when you visit this website. For this reason there is no cookie notice in which you would have to make a selection.

In the contact form, name, email address and message are mandatory; address and telephone number are optional. To protect against automatically sent messages, the form asks a small arithmetic question. It is generated and checked on our server; no third-party service is involved.

Your details are sent by email to office@strobotech.at. We do not store them in a database of the website. We use them solely to answer your enquiry and to clarify any questions.

The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If your enquiry serves to prepare an order, we additionally rely on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time by email. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

We keep your enquiry for six months after the last message so that we know the history if you have follow-up questions. If it leads to an order, the statutory retention obligations for business records apply, which under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (Bundesabgabenordnung) is seven years.

If you email or call us, we process the details you give us for the same purposes and with the same retention periods as for the contact form. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where an order is concerned, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell any data and do not pass it on for advertising. Only the hosting provider and our email provider, both as processors, have access, as well as bodies to which we are required by law to transfer data.

You have the right of access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18) and to data portability (Art. 20). You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). An email to office@strobotech.at is sufficient.

If you believe that we are not processing your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde): Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
